Q: Why does my plant need support?

A: Most houseplants are naturally found climbing trees in humid areas. By providing them with a pole or plank, you are mimicking their natural habitat, allowing them to grow bigger, healthier, more mature leaves.

Q: Why choose plvntly?

A: Our products were designed by a plant lover who understands the needs and wants of other growers. The modular design and thick, durable material of our products make them easier to use, longer-lasting, and higher-quality than traditional plant poles so you grow your plants on our poles and planks for longer with less effort.

Q: What are your products made from?

A: Our products are 3D printed with bioplastics made from naturally-derived materials that are durable and won’t degrade in your substrate.

Q: What is the difference between the pole and plank?

A: Our poles are designed for vining and climbing plants such as some species of monstera, philodendron, and pothos so you can wrap them around the entire pole. Our planks are for shingling plants such as scindapsus and orchids that need more surface area to root and grow.

Q: What is the difference between sphagnum moss and tree fern?

A: Both are great natural, water-retaining substrates for rooting your plants, so it comes down to personal preference. Sphagnum moss can hold up to 20x it’s weight in water, which means it can retain its moisture for longer. However, tree fern can be easier to re-wet and remove from roots than moss.

Q: How is plvntly helping the environment?

A: From using more sustainable options for our packing to participating in environmental programs, we strive to be environmentally conscious in everything we do. To learn more about ways we help the environment, read our Sustainability Promise.
